How to find CAREW Hockey Club Astroturf Pitch

Carew Hockey Club plays it matches on a Sand based Astroturf pitch located at Pembroke Comprehensive School and Leisure Centre, Pembroke.

From St Clears you take the A477 to Pembroke Dock following any road signs that show Irish Ferry Pembroke Dock.

As you enter Pembroke Dock you have a Cemetary on your right hand side with a slip road 100 yards further down the road on your left sign posted Pembroke. Turn left here to Pembroke and proceed up the hill passing factory units on your left and a council housing estate on your right.

Approximately half a mile from turning off the A477 and at the top of the hill there is a filter lane to the right sign posted Leisure Cente. Turn right here and follow the wall which is on your left to the first opening on the left into Pembroke Comprehensive School. You will see the Astro Turf Lighting well before the turning.

Follow the road around the astro turf pitch and park in the car park below the pitch. The changing rooms are on the lower level in the Sports Centre.

How to find our Clubhouse from Pembroke Astroturf pitch.

  Carew Sports & Social Club.

Turn right out of the Leisure Centre and proceed along the road 400 metres to the 'T' junction.

Turn Left at the 'T' Junction down the hill and under the railway bridge to the A477 main road to Carmarthen. Turn right at this junction.

Continue for some 4 miles until you reach a large rounabout where you turn left onto the A4075 towards Carew. On entering Carew turn right at the Carew Inn and proceed through the village some 400 meters where you will find the Clubhouse on your right hand side.
